Chinese to English translation

Chinglish is that awkward combination of words, which is a literal translation from Chinese into English. The Chinese and English languages are poles apart with respect to grammar and stylistic usage and when Chinese is translated into English by a non-professional translator, the meaning and effect is bound to get 'lost in translation'.

These results can be very amusing for International readers, but extremely frustrating and embarrassing for the companies and businesses trying to advertise and expand their services overseas.

With my English academic background, life in Australia and 7 years of professional translation experience, you can be confident when you put your work in my hands.

I work with British editor Mark Amy for my Chinese to English translation work. Together we can not only fully understand the original text, but also accurately and fluently convey the meaning to the target audience. We aim to not just translate, but to adapt and localise your products, services, documents and websites.
